Foundations
Belief rests on trust and anchors identity in God’s action. God is both almighty and intimately fatherly and invites awe and approach. Jesus is the steadfast foundation whose death and resurrection establish forgiveness and justice and hope. The Spirit dwells with the church and forms belonging and guides truth and empowers faithful service.
