Rest

Hebrews 4: 1 - 10

True rest is a present gift, not a reward earned by busyness, and it arrives when trust in God's promise displaces anxious self-reliance. Sabbath honors time as sacred and teaches that rest comes before labor, inviting celebration and satisfaction rather than perpetual performance. The gospel makes rest practical by offering Jesus’ presence to bear burdens and calm the restless heart, turning hurried moments into meaningful, resonant time. When people place their weight on God’s promise and live in his presence, ordinary tasks become holy and life stops speeding past long enough to be truly enjoyed.
