Why The Law?
John RothFebruary 16, 202540:09
1 Corinthians 6Laws protect boundaries and keep people safe, but they do not change hearts or heal selfishness, so Christians are called to settle disputes within the body and exercise mature wisdom rather than rushing to courts. Believers are entrusted with a future role of judgment, which demands humility and restraint now, and the gospel, not litigation, transforms our desires so we can suffer wrong, forgive, and grow through conflict into Christlike character. When the Spirit renews our hearts, small grievances stay small and relationships reflect God’s reconciling love.
