Echoes Of Eden
In The Beginning

Luke 4: 1 - 13The true Son of God defines power as service and uses authority for others rather than for self. Temptation arrives subtly by offering good things through wrong means, and any good can become an idol when it replaces God. Evil operates through coaxing and accusation, exploiting weakness and desire, not necessarily through obvious force. The faithful stand on the written Word, resisting by obedience and sacrificial love rather than spectacle or self‑vindication. Jesus faces the wilderness and the cross to reverse Eden’s failure, wins by trusting the Father, and brings a future where the effects of temptation are finally undone.
