Be Content

Hebrews 18: 1 - 8

Discontent entangles the heart in traps that look like freedom but lead to foolish, endless wanting. Pursuing wealth as your hope produces pride, distortion, and ruin while money never secures true rest. Real contentment arises from godliness rooted in dependence on God, trusting that he never leaves or forsakes us. Bad things can be used for good, present blessings endure in deeper ways, and the best is yet to come. True riches appear in shared life and hospitality when Christians welcome others, give and receive, and become conduits of God’s welcome rather than isolated consumers.
