Long-Expected Hope
Todd TuggleDecember 21, 202535:37
Romans 15: 13Confident expectation reshapes how people live because biblical hope is not wishful thinking but a sure anticipation of God's promises. That hope produces peace, the shalom of being complete and lacking nothing because God is present. Peace rooted in hope spills into deep joy, a pervasive sense of well-being cultivated by practiced gratitude rather than fleeting happiness. Abiding in God's unearned, unlosable love anchors that joy and frees people from proving their worth. What is received becomes what can be given, so generosity toward those in need flows naturally from a heart filled with hope, peace, joy, and love.
