Fear

Psalm 27

Danger signals in the brain protect life, but when fear becomes a companion it enslaves and distorts living. Fear is normal and God-given for protection, yet true freedom comes by letting go and trusting rather than mustering inner courage. Fearlessness grows by focusing on God, dwelling in his presence, and rehearsing the promised outcome so confidence replaces anxiety. God’s presence, his revealed victory, and the gift of surrender lift us above enemies and invite steady waiting, worship, and trust even amid doubt. Speaking our doubts to God and returning our gaze to Christ cultivates courage that outlasts circumstances.
