The Vineyard of The Lord Destroyed
Love remains the center of God's relationship with his people, so God plants, tends, and provides for a people he calls beloved and then expects justice and righteousness to flow from them. God looks for fair, restorative treatment of others and right relationships with himself, and failure to bear that fruit brings consequences that aim to awaken repentance and restore life. God remains faithful even amid judgment, showing his love most fully by sending his Son into the mess to expose our sin and to offer reconciliation rather than a transactional reward.
