Plans To Prosper

John RothOctober 14, 201835:35

Jeremiah 29: 10 - 14

Faithfulness to God's promises sustains his people even in exile and in cultural marginalization, and Jesus is the ultimate hope and future who fulfills God’s covenant. Prosperity never simply means material wealth, and wealth does not prove divine favor, so the heart must seek God rather than money. Christians live as resident aliens who plant, serve, and seek the common good of their communities while trusting God to provide what is needed. Contentment grows as hearts are reshaped by Christ’s sacrificial love and the promise that God’s kingdom alone endures.
