The Reason For God
Sin is a stubborn refusal to find identity in God and it fractures relationships with God and with self and with others and with creation. Repentance opens the way back as God seeks the lost and Jesus provides reconciliation and a new identity. Assurance rests on trusting Christ and on the Spirit’s gift of faith rather than on measuring certainty. Doubt does not disqualify belonging and honest community supports growth.
