Upside Down Kingdom

Upside Down Kingdom

Upside Down Power

Mark 10: 13 - 16

Kingdom power looks like weakness and service, not status or force, and it endures when earthly institutions fail. True greatness in God's kingdom comes through humility and serving the least rather than climbing for prestige. Jesus draws the vulnerable close by touch, blessing, and sacrifice, and entry into the kingdom requires childlike dependence, not self-reliance. The cross shows that giving away power and embracing weakness defeats death and opens new life. The church honors God by defending the weak, resisting the worship of power, and welcoming everyone—regardless of background—into Christ’s arms.
