It's Unfair, Thank God!
Human beings are like sheep who wander, cannot save themselves, and need a shepherd to find and carry them home. Repentance flows from being found, not from earning forgiveness by performance. Grace relentlessly pursues the lost, welcomes sinners into table fellowship, and celebrates their return. Jesus models a shepherd who rejoices rather than condemns, bears our weakness, and sacrifices for our restoration. Churches reflect Christ when they name people, eat with them, listen to their stories, and love without precondition, and followers grow unoffendable when they remember their own need and extend the same mercy to others.
