Unoffendable
Perspective

Matthew 18: 21 - 35Unforgiveness imprisons the offended while forgiveness frees the forgiver and displays the life already received by grace. Forgiveness begins with compassion that identifies with another, cancels the real debt owed, and then lets the person go. Forgiveness is a costly choice rather than a feeling, forgetting, or excusing, and it promises not to weaponize the offense or dwell on it. True forgiveness can coexist with just consequences for the sake of others. Because Christ pays the ultimate cost for sin, forgiven people are empowered to offer mercy and live unoffendable lives that reflect his grace.
