I Choose
Surrender Over Control

Proverbs 3: 5 - 6Letting go of the need to manage every outcome opens space for God's guidance and peace, because trust in God, not self-reliance, straightens our paths and guards our hearts. Trying to control everything springs from shame and perfectionism and destroys intimacy and growth. Prayer is the first response, not the last, and thanksgiving accompanies honest requests. Seek wisdom to know what you should change and what belongs to God, act responsibly where stewardship is yours, and release what is truly God’s. Jesus models living out of control by trusting the Father, carrying our shame, and inviting us into a relationship that frees us from anxious rule-keeping.
