Compassion
True compassion values people over being right and refuses self-righteous judgment, choosing mercy where condemnation is easier. God’s heart includes those who seem least deserving, and grace reaches the lost we once were. Belonging is a gospel reality, not a reward for moral standing, and forgiveness remains available even when we fail. The church’s mission is to proclaim that belonging and to meet people where they are, offering hope, invitation, and healing rather than scores of who is right. Humility and mercy prepare us to witness the redeeming work of Christ in others.
